The Help Depak Planet of The Apes dari Box Office

Jakarta - Empat belas hari Rise of the Planet of the Apes berada di puncak Box Office, akhirnya tiba saatnya harus satu peringkat. Film drama yang dibintangi aktris Emma Stone, 'The Help' dengan pendapatan US$ 20.5 juta berhasil mendepak Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Film yang diangkat dari novel laris karya Kathryn Stockett itu meraup US$ 71,8 juta dari penjualan tiket selama 12 hari pemutarannya. Sementara 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' meraup pendapatan total US$ 133,8 juta atau sekitar Rp 1,14 triliun.

Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World yang terseok seok pada debut minggu pertamanya dengan penghasilan US$ 12 juta harus puas berada di tempat ketiga.

Film petualangan Conan the Barbarian yang dibintangi Jason Momoa terperosok lebih parah dibanding Spykids 4, dengan penjualan tiket US$ 10 juta berada di urutan ke empat. "Kami kecewa dengan hasilnya, tapi saya pikir secara keseluruhan box office sedang turun minggu ini," ujar executive producer, David Spitz seperti dilansir Aceshowbiz, Senin (22/8/2011).
